Beside golfing, this tour will also show you some interesting sights and culture of Northern Thailand.   DEPARTURE: Daily from Chiang Rai, minimum 2 persons   DAY 1 CHIANG RAI Upon arrival transfer to a first class hotel (the best one in this town). Enjoy the golfing and mountain sceneries. Early afternoon drive back to the hotel. Time for relax at the hotel’s swimming pool next to the river. DAY 3 CHIANG RAI In the morning transfer to Santiburi Golf Club, just a few km outside of the town. This is an absolut top class golf course and for most of our customers the favourite one in the north. After playing your round you got two choice: Transfer back to your hotel or take a half day tour to the Golden Triangle (possibility to take a boat trip on the Mekong River). Back to Chiang Rai via Mae Sai, market town at the Burmese border. DAY 4 CHIANG RAI - CHIANG MAI Akha hill tribe women Today you will not use your golf bag. Drive through picturesque mountain wildernes, passing various hill tribe villages. Stop at the local market on Doi Maesalong, where many Chinese goods are for sell, but also Akha hill tribe people sell their vegetable and self made handicrafts. In Thaton lunch break on the banks of the Kok River. Visit Wat Thaton and its giant Buddha images, overlooking the Mae Kok River. Stop at the mystic cave of Tub Tao and at one of the rare Palong hill tribe villages. Arrive in Chiang Mai early evening and stay at a first class hotel in the city centre (the best one in town). DAY 5 CHIANG MAI In the morning drive to Chiang Mai-Lamphun Golf Club, approx. 25 km outside Chiang Mai, and enjoy golfing on this picturesque course. Early afternoon transfer back to Chiang Mai. On the way you got the opportunity to stop at some local handicraft factories, such as umbrella making, lacquer ware, silver ware, woodcarving etc. DAY 6 CHIANG MAI Chiang Mai Lamphun Golf Club Play another round of golf and you have the choice between Green Valley Golf Club and Royal Chiang Mai Golf Club. Both are top and challenging courses. In the afternoon transfer back to the hotel or do some more sightseeing in the northern capital (for example visit the landmark of this city, Doi Suthep mountain temple). Our vehicle/driver and guide are ready to serve you. DAY 7 CHIANG MAI Day at leisure until transfer to the airport....or extend your stay.
